| RE: Remedies for Post Nasal Drip |
I'd see a doctor if I were you. In the meantime, here is a recipe for a drink that I really like when I have a sore throat:
Hot Lemonaide
3 cups water 2 tablespoons chopped sugared ginger* 6 whole cloves 1/3 cup lemon juice 4 tablespoons honey
Bring water to a boil, add ginger and cloves, steep for 10 minutes. Pour into a glass quart jar. Add lemon juice, honey, and enough water to fill the quart jar. Strain and serve hot. May also be kept chilled in fridge and heat as needed. Leaving the ginger and cloves in the lemonaide increases the strength.
If the pieces of ginger are large, chop in a food processor along with a few tablespoons of sugar, store in an airtight container. *Sometimes sold as crystallized ginger. ... View related article. |

| RE: Making Single Serve Coffee Bags |
|
When my husband went on a business trip to Israel last year, the coffee there was simply a spoonful of fresh coffee grounds in a cup of hot water. You just let it sit for a couple of minutes, allowing the water to turn to coffee and the grounds to settle to the bottom of the cup. You don't drink the cup dry since the coffee grounds are in there, and you have to be careful of disposing of it. Sometimes we do this at home now and I pour the last of the coffee into the garbage disposal. Also, I like milk in my coffee, and this works just fine even when milk is added. ... | RE: Cleaning a Shower Curtain |

I kept having the same problem so I got a fabric shower curtain liner. I'm not sure what it's made of--polyester maybe? But it keeps the water in the shower and not on the bathroom floor, it doesn't get scummy and it doesn't fall apart in the wash. ... View related article. |

How does your house compare to others in the neighborhood? If the improvements would make it lots better, you may not recoup the costs when selling, because someone looking for that type of house might want it to be in a neighborhood with others like it. ... View related article. |

| RE: Moving Without Selling Current House |

I've never been in that situation, but I've heard it stated this way: If you lived in one state, and had a few hundred grand laying around in the bank, would you use it to buy a house in another state? Probably not. Keeping the old house would be the same thing. ... View related article. |

| RE: Easy Clothing Sewing Project |
Try a simple skirt pattern like this one:

It will be easy to make and you'll have something you can wear right away.
Wait to buy patterns until they are on sale-- they go on sale for 99 cents or $1.99 every 6 or 8 weeks where I shop for sewing stuff--otherwise patterns are REALLY expensive. ... View related article. |

| RE: Asking a Guy to Prom |
|
Guys aren't really as romantic and sentimental as girls. If you are expecting a big reaction out of him in front of the whole school-- like being overjoyed that you asked him or something-- you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. Asking him one-on-one gives him the opportunity to answer honestly yes or no without a lot of pressure. Plus I doubt your school will let you do that anyway-- imagine if everybody wanted to ask their date that way-- it would just be impossible. ... View related article. |

| RE: Can Only One Child Have Head Lice? |
What is the length of the life cycle of lice? Could it be that the lice are at the ex-wife's house, but since the little girl goes to your house and then returns to the ex-wife on a regular schedule, she just happens to arrive home at the point in the life cycle when the nits are most visible? Maybe you could skip a weekend and see if the ex-wife still notices the nits. I doubt she'd admit it, but if she still notices them hopefully she'll quit blaming you. ... View related article. |
