RE: Cashing Checks at WalMart
Get a Christmas club to cash checks free. Our friend on SSI was spending $16 a month at a check cashing place until I found him a bank with this Christmas club. He puts in minimal amounts and it pays over 4% a month, better than cd's. ... View related article.

RE: PayPal Reviews
Paypal does have a phone number on their website somewhere, you just have to search for it a bit. I've talked to them twice on the phone. Have never been overcharged. Always very courteous and helpful. There are bogus emails that go out looking like a paypal thing and those are the "phishing" things that you are supposed to ignore. If they start asking for private info that's not paypal. You can read on the website how to handle these bogus emails, because they want them forwarded to them to handle it. ... View related article.

RE: Darkening Room for Day Sleeper
We had the same problem, went to the family dollar and bought the aluminum solar sun shades ($2) and taped them up with the wide tape. buy two and cut and tape to block the whole thing out. also they are heavier and provide a little insulation and won't tear up as easily as aluminum foil. works great. ... RE: Advice For Severely Itchy Skin
Hey for Donna, guest post...you can order generic zyrtec from canada pharmacy dot com, I get it from there all the time. Go to the website and I think it is under the word citrazine (missing my latest box) or type in zyrtec and it should pop up. Costs me $29.00 for 90 pills which is like 33 cents a pill, very cheap. I paid $50 bucks for lifetime free shipping with them about 3 years ago (don't know if they still offer it) so that saves me $10 everytime I need something shipped, thats what it used to be anyway. Zyrtec is the difference between night and day on the itching to me. ... View related article.

RE: Icy Windshield
HI, I have not tried this yet but we intend to. In a book on salt solutions it says that if you live in a cold climate you know how common it is to wake up and not be able to see out your windows that have become covered with frost. says to remedy the situation , rub the inside of windows with a sponge dipped in a saltwater solution and let dry, says the windows will not frost up in subfreezing weather. would be worth a try i think!! also read this one time about locks freezing shut on car doors with freezing rain. said to use the super thin advertising magnets that you get, cut the magnet to fit the keyhole and pop on there when the weather is gonna be bad. ... RE: Insulating Walls
We are in the same boat, about the same distance from TWO major highways, semis and cars all day and all night long, considered one of the busiest trucking areas in the US. I bought an industrial grade floor fan by aloha breezes at walmart. spent about 35 bucks and boy does it help to mask out a bunch of the noise. It made a huge difference for us. I really don't see how hanging up a quilt or two would make that big of an impact. The new windows are very costly, but from watching the decorating shows are a good investment if you have the money. Since we don't have the money we will stick with our "747" fans. That's what I call them because they are noisy! Have one in the master and one in the living room. I love mine!

As a footnote the boy accidentally broke one of the 747's one day and it was like immediately we were listening to those dumb old semis. You bet your boots we couldn't stand it and hurried to walmart. Sad thing is might be sold out for the year and might be hard to track down. ... View related article.
