RE: Creamy Peanut Butter Pie
I use 8 ounces of cream cheese, 8 ounces of whipped topping, about a half a cup of peanut butter, and about 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Whip it all up and pour it into a graham cracker crust (I like the chocolate ones too.) ... View related article.

RE: Kitchen Sink Color Advice
How about copper? It kind of pricey, but very nice. I think it would look nice with your countertop. ... View related article.

RE: Restore and Reuse Dryer Sheets
I agree with anglehug. Liquid fabric softener is made for the washer. Using it on old fabric softener sheets will leave an icky residue on your clothes, the inside of the dryer, and the lint trap. I use vinegar in the rinse cycle. It's cheaper and works better. You don't get that fake *clean* smell, but the vinegar gets rid of any odors in your clothes. ... View related article.

RE: Cat is Urinating in the Bathtub
I just love the balloon idea!

I have a female cat who likes to poop in the bathtub. If we close the door, she'll just go on the throw rug in the guest room. We have 2 litter boxes for one cat, but she still likes to use the tub once in a while. We close her in the mudroom with her litter box when it's about time for her to *go*. She's been to the vet and has been determined to be a *bad cat*. LOL We love her anyway! ... View related article.

RE: Gift Ideas for Children in Another Country
I looked high and low for gifts to take to a friend in Singapore. It's hard to find small toys made in the USA. I ended up with Wooly Willy that I found in a small specialty toy store. Here is a link to see what it is:

The little girl I took it to loved it! Ironically, I used to work at the factory where it is made in Smethport, PA. ... View related article.

RE: Waterfall Cat Waterer
My old cat drank out of a fountain for years. She died at age 19. My new kitty (now 2 1/2) loves to drink from the same fountain. I add a few ounces of water every day to keep it full and I clean it out once in a blue moon. Also, the kitty water fountains come with a filter that needs to be cleaned or replaced every now and then. ... View related article.

RE: Sunken Spots in Pillow-Top Mattress
We have a Sealy mattress like the one you described ~ pillow top and cannot be turned over. It has a 10 year warranty. After 3 years, we had to have it replaced. After another 2 years, it's due to be replaced again. Switching end to end doesn't help...it just swaps DHs sunken spot with mine. I have a memory foam mattress pad on it and additional foam over the sunken spots. It helps a little, but I shouldn't have to be bothered. I'll never buy this kind of mattress again. ...
