RE: Think Recycling Before You Throw Anything Away
I am a Sunday school teacher. While I think this might be a well intended idea, I think it would be best to ask the recipient first before just passing stuff along. It is so easy to drown in class material and craft supplies from well meaning people. Now if you don't mind storing the stuff at your house until there is a request from the teacher, that would be different. I just don't have room to accumulate a lot of stuff. Most of the time unsolicited gifts just go in the trash, unless I can donate it to charity, sorry. ... View related article.

RE: Buy Extra Bread and Freeze
I do this all the time and never have trouble with soggy bread. I just leave the bags of bread in the plastic sack that I got them in and put it in my freezer. Or if I don't have room, I put them on the door of my fridge freezer. I don't do anything special to thaw them out. I don't leave them in there forever though, maybe a month at the most. ... RE: How Can I Get Rid of Roaches?
When we moved into our current home, it was infested with roaches. We tried everything. Then we used Combat Roach Gel and it got rid of them. They did not return. It is less than 10 dollars a tube. All we needed was one tube. It is toxic so if you have little ones make sure you use it in places they cannot reach. Here is a link so you can see what it looks like.

RE: Primer for Latex Paint
In one of my former houses, we had a large wall papered wall 12 ft tall. We primed in oil paint then did our top coat in latex. We had no problems and it turned out great. Just keep in mind that oil based paints don't clean up as easily if you spill. ... View related article.
