RE: To Quit Smoking, Keep Quitting
Thank you Laura for the positive power of persistance. My boyfriend and I quit for four days, then came Friday (my boyfriend's a musician and had a gig) and we relapsed. We're still intent on quitting and are now only smoking outside. It's hard going but it's nice to hear a success story from someone who FINALLY got through the weekend! ... View related article.

RE: My Mom's "Lid" Drawer
Hey Nancy--As I remember, I think my Mom put it in there (it was one of those small "superballs" with an eye painted on it) because as I was playing with it, I knocked down one of her heirloom glass pieces on the shelf in the living room (not a good place to be testing out a superball!) and broke it. She put it in the drawer (I was only four and couldn't really reach the drawer) and I would pull a chair up when she was hanging out laundry just to bounce it a few times. I guess I got bored with it after a while and it remained there forever. That's funny--I hadn't remembered that until you asked! Thanks for reminding me how mischievous I was--LOL!! I think I'll look next time I'm home and see if it's still there--haha.

RE: Rock Concert Theme Party
Flourescent glo-in-the-dark sticks from the dollar store, make up some laminated backstage passes to wear around your neck, some funky sunglasses, glitter from the dollar store, . . . Also, Oriental Trading Company (look it up online) has lots of funky stuff they sell in quantity--actually, you can find all of those things there if you have time to order. ... View related article.

RE: Product Review: Half.com
I use Half.com ALL THE TIME! It's great! You can also open an account for free and post your used books, CD's, DVD's to sell also. I'm a book-a-holic but have found that I have so many I don't really want to keep and I'd rather sell them than throw them away! ... View related article.
