RE: Is this a Geranium?
It looks like a pelargonium to me, which, I have been told, is the Rolls Royce of Geraniums, but I'd have to see the flowers a little clearer. Are they bell shaped, with a dark inner ring surrounding an almost white center? ... View related article.

Now when I look at the shelves in the supermarket that contain the ready made foods, I wonder how I ever managed to survive on such a narrow variety of dishes!
The two tips I would give you are; taste everything before you serve, so you can make adjustments, and invest in a slow cooker for the days when there just isn't time to prepare a full meal at night, that way you won't break your resolve before you start saving both your money and your health! ... RE: Need Recipes For "Unusual" Vegetables
Turnips can be sliced and diced and used in casseroles, stews and soups. Leeks just slice and use in any or all of the above.

If you are lucky enough to get parsnips, try them roasted with your favourite joint of meat. Hubby can't get enough of them like that, but they too can be sliced and diced as turnips. ... View related article.
