I have a different take on giving the same card year after year. My friend and I have been doing that for 45 years--since I bought it in 1962 and first sent it to her! The card reading said something about being thrifty and sending it back and forth for many years to come and that just what we've been doing. It's great to look over the signatures to see the family additions, changes and milestones over the years. My greatest fear is that when I get it back from her on my birthday, I'll misplace it and won't know where it is for her birthday. You know how forgetful old people are! LOL

I have an autistic but high functioning 8 yr. old grandson who benefits from 1/2 cup of epsom salts in his bath water. It seems to calm him and helps him focus. I agree! I have been using it for a few years and nothing works as well. I think you have the name backwards, though. It's Arm and Hammer "Clean Shower" not "Shower Clean". It keeps my tile really nice and scum free. I hate scrubbing tile and grout! It's about $2.75 for a 32 oz. bottle with the spritzer on it. I've seen an economy refill size (without the spritzer) somewhere but not at our local stores. I love this stuff, too! ... View related article. |

One of my friends sent me an email recently about this very thing. They said to put a glob of liquid soap on a cotton ball, put it on the tick for a few minutes and the tick will come out and be sticking to the soap. You can throw away the whole mess.
