RE: Keeping My Neighbor's Pets Out of My Yard
Yeah!!! There is NO reason for you to have to buy a special product and take the time to use it to play with your animals in YOUR yard!!!! I had the same problem and called the local dog catcher...I took pictures of the dog in my yard and showed him the pics. He went over (and kept my name quiet) and warned the neighbor...then I didn't have a problem, but if I did I was instructed to call them back out. ... View related article.

RE: How To Buy Wholesale
You could sell on Ebay...that is pretty easy and if you are going to put the time into it, it will pay off. I started with little things I could find (clearance stuff) and sold them, then I started to stock up on things that I thought would sell. Sometimes they sold, other times they didn't. I always make sure it is something I would buy before considering selling it. Always be honest listing things and you should do OK.

What I didn't sell there I tried to sell at flea markets (locally). There are many ways to sell...as I am sure you know. I have a company that I ordered from wholsale. They never were a problem for me and I didn't have a special limit I needed to buy. I also didn't need a tax ID to order from them (which many wholesale places require). If you'd like to know the website, email me at katieandjeffy AT netscape.com and I will give you the info.

Good luck!! ... View related article.

RE: Waxing Your Own Eyebrows
I used to get mine done too, but now I do mine at home too. I use the baby powder trick as well. And apply the pressure ... it works too. I used to buy the wax kits, but I recently tried to gel kind and LOVE it!!! I don't have to worry about heating it, and if I make a mistake applying it, it rinses right off!! The kit I bought was pretty cheap and can do any part of the body! I didn't think the gel kind would work until I bought it!! I also pluck in between waxing...that helps a lot!! ... RE: Tips for Moving Into a New Home
Yes! ALWAYS label your boxes for each room! I made the mistake of not doing that once and it was a mess trying to find the stuff I wanted!

When you go into the Post Office to change your address, they have a moving packet that has some coupons in it (it is free)...that might be useful.

Keeping the boxes close to the same size helps too...that way they stack nicer...for the ones you won't be getting to right away.

I packed a box of stuff that I would need right away, and kept it seperate because we moved in the afternoon and by the time everything was moved, it was too late to dig...things to include:
medicine, personal care items (deoderant, toth brushes, etc...), toilet paper, cleaning supplies, a change of clothes, etc...it is much easier getting that stuff out of 1 box...LOL.

Take you time...it can get very overwhelming at times but it will get done! ... View related article.

RE: Poll: Have you ever bought a new washer and dryer?
We have a Whirlpool Duet set...I love it! Works great and uses less water. It has great features too. We couldn't find one very cheap at the time...but it is almost 2 years old and runs great!! ... View related article.

RE: Cat Wants to Sleep With Me At Night
She is probably lonely at night. Maybe you could bring her into bed with you, and snuggle her under the covers with you. Mine like to go under there and snuggle up to me. Just hold her close so she feels secure. I lift my covers up and mine automatically go "under the tunnel" now. Maybe that will solve the pillow issue. Depending how you lay you can adjust her so that you are both comfy. Even pet her so she knows she is not in any trouble.

If she is yowling at night, she must be scared or lonely, so I wouldn't suggest leaving her out of the room. My old kitty used to do that when I wasn't home and I had her checked but she was fine other than missing me...lol.

Good Luck!! ... View related article.

RE: Tape on Aluminum Siding
A great product to use is called Goo Gone, that might help. Otherwise if it isn't really noticable just leave it there. ... View related article.

RE: Changing the Names of Kittens
Awww! They are really cute! How old are they? If they are young, I am sure you can. Just talk to them and use the new names as often as possible until they get used to it. I have known people to change the names of animals they have rescued without problems. ... View related article.
