Yea it does do that. That 20 mule team stuff in laudry isle at supermarket. Has Borax in it. It might work. I use that for vomit and runny dog poop. I sprinkle it on generously let it sit over night and vacumn it up. Makes a good carpet cleaner. Sprinkle it on carpet and spray water on it and have steam cleaner suck it up. ... | RE: Nail Polish on Carpet |
|
Nail Polish remover or acetone gets it out of carpet, and anything made of cloth. I prefer acetone. It is what takes off the acrylic nails. At Walmart there is usually a big bottle cheap where they sell the nail remover. It wont bleach or stain your carpet or cloth stuff. One night I came home my hubby had fallen asleep, but my daughter who was 3 at the time was still awake. She played possum when my husband went to sleep. When I got home at 12:30 midnight, she was not only still awake, but she had nail polish all over herself, her pajamas, the carpet in her room. She had taken a chair climbed up on the sink counter, and she had a small stool on the counter, and unlocked the cabinet in the bathroom where she found a haven of nail polish. Anyway, I took her to walmart with me, and I got some Acetone. I got home and used that. I just poured that stuff on the places in the carpet where the nail polish was. It just disappeared in seconds. It was cool. Same thing to my daughters pajamas. Works good oh you don't have to scrub at all. It didn't hurt my carpet. If nail polish remover doesn't work try acetone works great. ... View related article. |

I have a little dog that gets upset when he sees me leave the house with a suit case. He doesn't want me to leave him. Sometimes when I go somewhere, he jumps in the car without permission. When you try to get him out you have to play hid and seek. When you find him, he runs to another part of the car. Onetime we gave up. We took him into an attorneys office in a green nylon overnight bag. The attorney laughed when they caught us with the dog in the bag. We left a small opening so he could breath. The dog kept tryin stick his head out the opening. The attorney let us let the dog out of the bag on the leash. The attorney played with the dog also. We were in a 50 story building. First time the dog rode in an elevator. We just couldnt leave the dog outside in the hot car. ... View related article. |

I have a little rat dog. I tried everything with that dog. He's probably 6 yrs old. He's too stubborn. If I open the door he'll go outside, but I have to do that evey 30 min or so. I don't have time to keep letting the runt out to see if he needs to go to the bathroom. I think I will just put doggy diapers on the dog. I know I had a friend that did that. This dog unless he is in closed quarters very small. He wont let you know that he has to go to the bathroom. He knows better. I have caught him a few times, and has that guilty look then runs and hides because he know he did wrong. Funny that dog loves to wear clothes. My kids have put that dog in all kinds of clothes they had that they didnt use anymore. The dog hates Dog collars and Harnesses unless you take him for a walk. He hates it when a leash is tied to a tree. ... View related article. |

| RE: Homemade Flea Treatment |
At Tractor supply they have this spray. By Farnam Pet Products Water-Based Flea & Tick Spray For Dogs Plus Citronella Scent. I use it on my cats too. I sprayed them real good. Put them in the laundry room for the night. It is real strong. It wont hurt the animals. I used it on a little kitten that I found in my yard. I also spray their animal bedding and place they sleep. Anyway, I let that set on them for a night.
The next day I gave them a bath with flea and tick shampoo to get rid of any other lingering fleas. I let that set on them for 5 min before I washed it off. Then I wash them with Antibacterial Dish Soap. It repels fleas for some reason. It wont hurt their skin or coat. I use it all the time on all my pets. I have used that cat powder on both my dogs and cats. It works good. Also Sulfer repeals Flees. Some people say some spices and Garlic works. I haven't used that.
I tried yeast in their food, and it gave them wet, runny stools. I have heard Diatomaceous Earth works good, and it don't hurt people or animals. It is supposedly edible. Some put it in horse feed to keep them from getting parasitic worms, and it kills maggots in horse poop. I do know when we moved a year ago into this house. It was already infested with fleas.
My animals became infested too. I took home bug spray that you spray inside. I sprayed all floors in house plus carpet. I let it set over night. Then I mopped the floors, and steamed cleaned the carpets. The spray killed the fleas, and the steam cleaner sucked up all the dead fleas and the eggs and any live fleas. Also pulled the spray out of the carpet to not hurt animals. That took care of the fleas in the house. Fleas are real bad here. Everyone is having problems. I have to keep treating my pets and giving them baths about once a week. Dish soap works well just give them a bath in it. Fleas seem to not like soap. Hope it helps. ... View related article. |
