Have you considered a lively game of bingo? I collected lots of inexpensive items throughout the year and used them as prizes for each game. The people can take turns being the Caller of the numbers. Our family had a lot of fun playing Bingo last Christmas! One twist we added was this: the first winner gets to pick a wrapped prize, the next winner can select a wrapped prize OR can choose to take the prie that the first winner selected. RE: Olfa Rotary Cutting Mat Warped
I purchased a mat like this once that was warped. I placed it outside on a hot sunny day. I placed it on the top of our hot tub cover (any flat surface should do). I left the mat there for several hours and when I returned for it, it was perfectly flat. The heat of the sun seemed to "relax" the uneven surface and now the mat looks like a new one. RE: Uses for Dryer Lint
I recently saw a new pincushion in a local quilting shop. It looked like it had been made from a big ball of dryer lint. There were various colors visible in it and it had been molded into a large ball shape with a flat base. Does anyone have any idea how to process dryer lint to achieve a pincushion like this? I have searched but so far have not seen anything online for making such a thing. ... View related article.
