RE: Planning a Wedding and Reception for Under $2500
My dh and I rented our historic court house for 550.00 for our daughters wedding. It was very beautiful and had beautiful hardwood floors with a kitchen for her caterers. It had a big room plenty of room for table and chairs from the rental store and big tall windows which were perfect for pictures. She had a small stage where she placed and arch in front of her cake table. The tables were decorated simply with candle vases and she put clear marbles in it and put ribbon around the vase with her colors( lavender and pastel light green.) ... View related article.

RE: Tips for House Cleaning Business
For doors and windows that have slotted wood, use a dry paint brush to get the dust off. I also use the brush on pleated lampshades. I learned this when I worked as a housekeeper at a hotel. Always clean from top to bottom. ... View related article.

Hi Abear

I believe it is sold by weight. I'm not very sure on cup measurements.

Oh by the way...I sure wish you would come back to visit us at family corner. We miss you lots. Don't know if you remember me or not. You are from my hometown.

RE: Recipes Using French Fries
Fry up some french fries on top of the stove and set aside. Then chop up onions, green peppers, shallots(optional) tomatoes or cooked sausage or hamburger meat, cook it all together and then drain.
Put fries in the skillet and scramble up some eggs and add meat mixture to fries and then add eggs until cooked. We call it scrambled french fries. You can add anything you want. ... View related article.

RE: Giving Away Prizes at a Company Picnic
Get a square piece of styrofoam and stick a lot of toothpicks that have one end of them colored different colors. Stick the colored end in the styrofoam and each color represents a certain prize. Or sell tickets for a dollar and put all the collected money from the tickets in a jar and the tickets in another jar and pull one and read the number on the ticket that was pulled out of the jar..and whoever has that ticket number gets all the money. Hope it all turns out fun.. ... View related article.

RE: Poll: Were you or someone in your family impacted by last year's hurricanes?
My 3 sister's were all impacted from Katrina..2 of them lost their homes and never got a Fema trailer or any kind of help from the state or the government. 1 sister and her husband were lucky and never recieved any damage to their home. One of my sisters job transferred her to Atlanta to work at another branch until they could return to New Orleans. They were there for 5 months. After the job went back to N.O. my sister decided to try to get another job here where I live. She had worked for her job for 19 yrs and had 6 months to return to her job or she would lose all her senoirity and vacation time. She tried to get one here and no one was hiring for the experience she was qualified in so she went back and she now hates it there. She will try to come back here and plans to send out resumes in December...she loves it here and wants to move back. It would be great to have her here. I miss my family. ... View related article.

RE: Dealing With Emotions After Quitting Smoking
Congrats..on a very emotional and big step in a new healthy lifestyle. I quit 3 years ago and I am so happy I did. I went cold turkey. I smoked since I was 10 years old(yeah I know...I am horrified by it too) I am now 52. My one and only granddaughter who is now 3 was the reason behind my quitting. When she was born she had a breathing problem and was on some kind of a breathing machine. She was coming to live here with her parents and I made a concience choice to quit so I would not make it harder on her to struggle to breathe. It was very hard but I got through it and so did my granddaughter...she is no longer on the machine and she is a vibrant healthy 3 year old with a lot of spunk. I still want a ciggarette every now and then until I get up next to some one who is smoking and go YUCK! I can't believe how much they stink and how much your clothes smell too,. My doctor told me that it takes 7 years for your lungs to completely heal and clear up from the effects of smoking. Within that 7 yrs you can still develop cancer and other health related problems. But your chances of that goes down considerably with each day you don't smoke.
Well I hope this info helps you and I know you can do it...just hang in there ok. All the people here who posted are all with you . ... View related article.

RE: Home Work Made EZ Reviews
Hi Ann
I took a look at the web site that you posted about making money at home. If it is just stuffing envelopes then it is a scam. Please don't send them any money....thats how they will suck you in. If it sounds to good to be true....then it probably is.
A legitimate work at home employment will not ask you for money. Check with the Better Business Bureau on any work at home company. Get addresses and phone numbers from these companies. If they won't give you that much then they are scammers. Also see if they offer a money back guarantee..if not....run as fast as you can.
Good luck
