RE: "I Love You" Scavenger Hunt
Thank you for your wonderful 'heart opening' story. You and your family are making good use of the glue that keeps families together and brings a little more light into the world. I am speaking of love in action.

Thank you,

RE: Blackhead Remedies
I saw somewhere on this site about using lemon at night on blackheads. I tried it and it works very well.
I squeeze a few drops of fresh lemon juice onto a flat cotton pad. I gently press and wipe over blackhead areas.
After squeezing juice on, I flip the pad over and use that side, that way the pulp doesn't get on my skin.
Also, about once a month, after a hot steamy shower or bath, I use a cloth or kleenex to gently squeeze them. When the pours are open and softened from the heat, the oil and dirt comes out quite easily.
When in the shower or tub, I place a warm washcloth on the areas to open and soften the pours.
The skin must be heated to get them clean.
The lemon juice breaks down the oil inside the blackheads, just like lemon is used to break apart oil particles. Same idea as using vinegar or lemon to make salad dressing. The lemon separates the oil.
I tried using apple cider vinegar but it was too harsh on my skin and turned it all red.
Fresh lemon works well for me. ... View related article.

RE: Use Vinegar for Cleaning Purposes
Here is some information on website regarding the use of vinegar to clean and disinfect in homes and medical facilities.
I was incorrect about the ph balance of white vinegar. However, it does work in killing bacteria and many hospitals and doctors offices are now using it to clean and disinfect.

RE: Leg Cramps While on Diabetes Medication
The medication may be causing an imbalance of minerals.
The body needs a proper balance of sugar/potassium/salts or sodium in one form or another.
You may want to try a multi-mineral and a potassium tablet.
Make sure the multi-mineral has calcium and magnesium and vitamin D in it.
One tablet of potassium with this (99 mg.), should help balance this problem. If it persists, add a tablet of B6 to the mix.
A multi-vitamin added to this is a great help as any illness depletes the body of nutrients.

One other reason for cramping legs can be that the lower(spinal area below the waist), spine is out of alignment. The nerves in this area directly affect the legs and feet. ... View related article.

RE: Storing Oil After Frying Food
Once oil is heated, it becomes rancid or poisonous to the human body.
It can cause swollen sore joints, such as arthritis. It also causes the body to become over acid, which is one of the culprits causing swollen sore joints, acid stomach. An over acid body is more susceptible to flu's, colds and many other ailments.
Heavy, greasy oils, clog oxygen cells, making the person sleepy and weak.
It also adds to a great amount of cholesterol in the blood stream, clogging arteries.
