In addition to using the flea killers from the vet, use 20 Mule Team Borax. It's in the laundry section of the supermarket. Sprinkle it on your carpets (or floors),leave it overnight. When you vacuum it up be sure to replace the vacuum bag.(throw out the fleas!) A week later do the same thing again, this will get the eggs.I personally have used this, so I know it works.
