Oh my gosh, it's been over a year since I've been here, and it's great to be back! My husband got the following recipe for shredded chicken sandwiches from a co-worker a few years ago. He was looking for sandwiches that taste like the ones Dairy Queen used to sell, and to him, this recipe does the trick.
1 50-oz. can canned chicken 1 box Stove Top stuffing, (cornbread or chicken flavor) one can cream of chicken soup (low-fat is fine) enough chicken broth to moisten the mix
Combine the first three ingredients in a crock pot, then add chicken broth til moistened. Cook on high for one-one and one-half hours or on low for 2-3 hours.
I realized I made an error of sorts when I originally posted this. I do use a 50-oz. can of chicken, but I end up adding more broth. The first time I made it, the recipe called for 32-42 oz. shredded chicken. Sorry, folks. ... View related article.
I do a google search for the drug by name. Name brand drugs often have a website, and if there is a rebate, that's where you'll find that information. I've done it with three drugs (all name brand), and I've found rebates on all of them. I doubt that you'll find any coupons on generic drugs, but that's worth a try, too, at the manufacturer's website.
I had considered wrapping mine, since it's in an unheated basement, but the water heater itself has a warning in big, bold letters not to use one. Are they maybe hoping my heating element burns itself out trying to keep the water warm or what?
I can't believe a shelter would even have a wolf hybrid! I used to have a dog/coyote mix, and she was wonderful, but I really advise against any of these hybrids, especially with young children. We cannot even assume our pet dogs won't bite or attack, let alone something that's half wild.
Excellent idea. I have forgotten mine and had to get more expensive 30-day supplies until I got my refill. Fortunately, my mail-order pharm has started calling customers when their refills are due; however, they don't tell who or what prescription needs filled!
When I moved from a place that was crawling with cockroaches, I sprayed an ant and roach killer along the sides on the inside of the boxes, then packed them. I made sure that all my food was placed in plastic containers, and I didn't spray the boxes it was going into. I surrounded the outsides of all the boxes with boric acid powder, and I left the boxes in the middle of the floor until we could move them the next morning. We didn't take one cockroach with us, and I haven't had cockroaches in 23 years. I also wouldn't take anything I didn't have to take, to reduce your chances of carrying anything. You may also want to put some boric acid powder in your new home (cupboards, where you'll put the fridge and stove, bathroom cabinets, etc.) just in case any escape your original efforts. Boric acid is the only thing I trust to get rid of roaches, and it's cheap.
I used to use a certain brand vegetable only, because it was always the best (IMHO); however, when i started finding stems and unknown objects mixed in with these expensive, hardly-ever-on-sale veggies, I decided to try some store brands. I was wonderfully surprised when every brand I tried was as good as the one I'd been eating for 45 years! Believe it or not, they were cleaner, too. You just have to try different brands to know which you like better.
