I've got a pot roast in the crockpot right now!!! Easy easy recipe yummy too brown chuck roast for 2 minutes on each side put 1 envelope of onion soup mix in crockpot add 1 cup or so water or beef broth add roast cook 8 hours on low at 6 hours -lift roast out and add some veggies on bottom if you want (make sure they are covered in liquid or add more if necessary- put roast back in on top when everything is done-remove meat and veggies turn crockpot to high until liquid boils then add 2 tblsp. four and 2 tblsp. butter boil until thick for a delish gravy YUMMY ... Materials Ammonia Plastic bag (garbage bag) Paper towels Spray bottle
1. Cover the rack with paper towels. Partially slide the rack into the plastic bag (make sure the bag is big enough to cover the rack really well).
2. Fill the spray bottle with ammonia and use it to saturate the paper towels. Securely close the bag around the rack and leave overnight.
3. When you open the bag, the fumes will be strong, so point it away from your face and stand way back. Carefully remove the dirty paper towels.
4. Wash the grate with hot soapy water, and you're done. Be sure to heat the rack on high for atleast five minutes before you use the oven again it may fume slightly.

It's not Don Pablos- but this recipe sounds delicious!
Makes 8 servings 1 ear sweet corn 12 oz. unsalted butter, at room temperature 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. sweetened coconut 2 eggs 1 t. vanilla extract 1/2 c. milk 1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. ground cinnamon 1/2 t. salt Pinch Allspice Rum raisin ice cream Caramel sauce, warm Cut kernels from ear and puree in food processor. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter a 10-cup tube or Bundt pan (or six mini Bundt pans). Cream together butter, sugar, and coconut with an electric mixer. Add eggs, vanilla, milk and pureed corn and beat until fluffy.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and allspice and fold into batter. Pour into pan. Bake 30 minutes or until cakes are light brown. Cool on wire rack. Serve with rum raisin ice cream and caramel sauce. Garnish with fresh fruit as desired.

3/4 cup butter 3 cups white sugar 3 eggs, beaten 6 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 2 1/4 cups orange juice 3 tablespoons orange zest 3 cups chopped cranberries 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease three 8x4 inch loaf pans. Blend together butter, sugar and eggs. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to wet ingredients, alternating with orange juice. Mix in the orange rind, cranberries and walnuts. Stir until just combined and pour into prepared pans.
