My name is Nancy Lee, and I currently live in Southeastern, Massachusetts. I enjoy cooking, knitting, crocheting, painting, sewing and all sorts of different types of crafts. I am the mother of 2 fine young men, their ages are 26 and 23 years old. My two finest accomplishments as I would like to call them. The grandmother of a 3 year old grandson, he can certainly be a fresh guy, but, those big blue eyes just win you over immediately. The stepmother of 3 stepdaughters, and stepgrandmother of 5 stepgrand kids, 4 boys and 1 girl. Life has had it's up's and down's, twists and turns, and I live on the 16th floor of a highrise apartment building, did I mention, I'm afraid of heights, but the view can be spectacular, it is a waterview and the sunsets are amazing. The Good Man UpStairs, he has a sense of humor. Me to. Live, Love, Smile and Laugh often, it always will help you through anything life throws your way. I have been very blessed in this life of mine and the best way to start each day is first by waking up, and second being thankful for a new day in which to start all over again, life is wonderful, all these new chances we have.
Hello Barb, Thank you for this recipe "Eggplant Pizza", what a wonderful new recipe for my files, I love Eggplant, and everything else this pizza has on it. It will be my next pizza that I make. I do make my own pizza dough from scratch in my bread maker on the dough cycle. I can't wait to try it.
Take good care and again thanks for this recipe, Nancylee52 in Massachusetts ... View related article.
Hello Robin, I love your recipe for the Artichoke Pizza Appetizer, I plan to make this the next time I am invited to a friends house for dinner, I have had the Spinach Artichoke Appetizer from Olive Garden and it is very good. I like your recipe because of the Crescent Rolls, love them, and I may try adding some spinach to your recipe, I think it will work out just fine. Thanks again for such a tasty recipe. Hello Robin, This is a wonderful recipe, I have made it using shredded cheddar cheese instead of the Mozzerella cheese, and also added crushed cornflakes to the mixture. It is a great dish to bring to a "PotLuck Supper", everyone loves it. And I like Kellycajun's addition of the left over cubed ham. It really is a great recipe. Thanks for sharing. All will enjoy this one. ... View related article.
Hi Pat, Thank you for the info on the Zep Cleaner, I had been purchasing it at the Family Dollar store near my home, but, they no longer carry it. And Home Depot does, my next stop I'll have to pick up a few. I've used it for cleaning my stainless steel kitchen sink, spray it on, wait a bit, wipe it off and it shines just like a new sink, I'll have to try it on the bathtub and the tile. Thank you for this information, much appreciated. Nancylee52 Southeastern, MA ... View related article.
Hello Michawn, I've been living in Massachusetts for the past 27 years, but, grew up in Rhode Island, and we Rhode Islander's love our "Fluff-A-Nutter Sandwich", it is made with 2 slices of regular white bread, creamy peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff, it must be an eastern thing, I still to this day enjoy a "Fluff-A-Nutter Sandwich" and I'm 52. We also liked to put creamy peanut butter and grape jelly on a Ritz Cracker making a sandwich of sorts. And that Ritz cracker with the peanut butter and jelly brings back many fond memories of my childhood growing up in Rhode Island. Take good care, Nancylee52 ... View related article.
Hi Beth, Thank you for the Knitted Fingerless Gloves pattern, I will be sure to knit a pair for myself and then who knows, perhaps a few pairs for friends. I have a pattern for some "Pedicure Socks" that I hope to one day knit, have to get back in the swing of things with the double pointed needles and some practicing of the socks first, it has been quite some time since I knitted socks. This Fingerless glove pattern is nice, it is on straight needles. Thank you again for this pattern. Have a great day, Nancylee52 Southeastern, Massachusetts ... View related article.
Using clear Newspaper sleeves is a wonderful way to keep your yarn clean. I don't receive the daily newspaper and when I knit or crochet I use a gallon size zipper storage bag or freezer bag. The newspaper sleeves actually are the better buy, they are for "Free", but for those who don't receive the newspaper the clear zipper storage bags work well for keeping your yarn clean and for me I just keep reusing them, over and over again. Have a great day, Nancylee52 ... View related article.
Hi Coreen, my vote is for the "Tomato Sandwich", growing up in Rhode Island, my dad always grew "Big Boy" tomato's in our back yard. We would have fresh tomato's all summer long. My favorite is Tomato, Mayo on fresh Italian Bread, which my mom would buy at the local Italian Bakery. Sure does bring back some really fine memories. I now live in Southeastern, Massachusetts and that Italian Bakery has been a thing of the past for many years, but when they were open a fresh tomato sandwich on their bread was the best. Take good care and happy tomato sandwich eating. Nancylee52 ... View related article.
