I wish I had some tips for you; however, I just wanted to let you know that your precious one is adorable. As a dog/cat lover I hope someone can give you some helpful advice. RE: Craft Ideas Using Terra Cotta Pots
I have seen cute holiday decorations made with them. For instance, snowmen faces, Santa faces, pumpkins, etc. Just turn them upside down, paint the entire pot (for example white for a snowman), and use other paint and or accesories to put on the features. How about using small ones to hold candy. Decorate the pot the way you wish. Might make great party favors, school goodie containers, or given to nursing home patients for a holiday gift. I hope I explained myself ok. Have fun! ... View related article.

RE: Hair Removal Tips
Hi Alvena,

When I was growing up, I was very self conscious about the dark hair on my arms and legs. In fact, I was quite embarassed when my father (of all people) asked me when I was going to shave my legs.
Well, I did start shaving my legs; howsever, still felt bad about my dark arm hair. It wasn't until I was in junior college that I began to feel a bit better. You see, the girl who was chosen beauty queen, was quite beautiful, and yet her arms were covered with dark hair. I then thought, if it is alright with a beauty queen, it should be alright with me. :-) During my early teaching years, several of my students would ask me why my arms were so hairy. I simply replied, "That's the way God made me!". ... View related article.

RE: Dealing with Facial Hair
Perhaps there is a school that teaches how to perform laser treatments which provides services at a much lower cost. I know where I live, there is a dental school at the junior college that performs procedures at a minimal cost. Also at a different college, a person can get braces at a cost reduction. Beauty Schools do this with perms and hair cuts. It may be something to look into. The "student" has to be monitored by the professional. Good luck to you! ... View related article.

RE: Tree Birthday Cake
The cupcake tree idea is great. Another thought might be to buy a special cake pan in the shape of a tree (I've seen Christmas tree pans). Of course, if you don't plan on using the pan often, I'd go with the cupcake idea. Happy baking! ... View related article.
