| RE: Painting with Acrylic Paint on Plastic |
From one Texan to another... acrylic paint does not adhere well to plastic. No matter how well you clean it will scratch or peel off very easily. An oil based paint would work better. You will find it at any craft store but it will be in the artist/painting area not in the craft area. It is messy and stains if you get it on your clothes. Wear an apron or clothes you do not care about. ... View related article. |

| RE: Putting a Photo on a Christmas Bulb |
make a color photo copy and cut to size. Make sure BEFORE you start using the mixture that it won't wrinkel up as it goes around the ball. Too large a photo won't work well.
Mix water and white gule like Elmers. Make the mix semi runny but not watery. Brush mixture on ball, place photo and brush over the photo. It will dry hard as a rock and shiny. You need to find something to dry the ball on like wax paper and something to keep it from rolling. Otherwise you will have a pretty glued mess stuck to your table!

| RE: Removing Cleaning Products from Cabinet Fronts |
Amonia cuts the grease better than any product. You must be in a well ventilated area. The fumes are very strong. Do NOT mix with anything but warm water. Fumes from combining products can kill you!
My friend uses TSP. You buy it in the grocery store on the cleaning isle. It is a powder that you mix with water. It cuts grease, oil and gunk well too. More expensive but no harsh smell.

| RE: Health Insurance Options for 25 Year Old |
One thing we do is take part in medical research studies for extra money. You get PAID for being in the studies and get free medical care and meds. Even smaller cities have doctors participating in different studies. Google on line for example... Medical research or Clinical research and the city or state where you live. You should get lots of options.
There is even a Federal Clinical research at ClinicalTrials.gov. There you can narrow you search to city and state and type of illness. We have been doing them for years. Often it is a drug that has been on the market for years and is going generic. They want to know if it is as good as the real thing. I just did a study for allergies and used the same nasal spray I always use. I got paid $250 for 4 visits and got my meds that ususally have a $60 co-pay free! ... View related article. |
