RE: Anthurium Blooms Turning Brown
The plant is not an anthurium it is a Peace Lily . Spathiphyllum cleans indoor air of many environmental contaminants, including benzene, formaldehyde, and other pollutants.[1][2] It cleans best at one plant per 10 m².[3] It lives best in shade and needs little sunlight to thrive. It is watered approximately once a week. The soil is best left moist but only needs watering if the soil is dry.

Spathiphyllum is mildly toxic to humans and animals when ingested

Sometime if there is a high content of salt in your water source you will also get the brown edges. if this is the problem it is good to leach at least once a month and add new soil as the soil level gets lower from the excess leaching. ... View related article.

RE: Help with Lower Back Pain
Get yourself to a yoga class and if you can't find one purchase a yoga tape for lower back. I had the same problem from an accident to where it was painful to walk and ever since I have practiced yoga I don't have as much pain. Also you may want to look into getting a memory foam mattress. Make sure it is double sided and at least 10". There are some real cheap mattresses out there but they only have one side so you can't flip them and you really need the thickness for comfort and support. ... View related article.
