dealt with this myself; have taken valtrex and cort.drugs, but found better solution and pain relief from vit E, taken orally 1600 units for me and putting vit E on blisters. I have had most trouble with after blisters have gone away, post whatever and i take heavy doses of vit E and C and it seems to make it go away.
