RE: Sewing Fleece on a Sewing Machine
I have been making fleece jackets, scarves, etc. If you use what they call tear away, I cut the tear away a 5/8" seam allowance size. I do this mostly for the seams. When done just tear away from finished project, keeps fleece from slipping or sliding for you. Also, with the fleece you may be able to use wash away, same as tear away only instead of tearing the extra sticking out wash away remains and you can wash it away. Also remember to never use fabric softeners or the dryer sheets on fleece as it will loose it's texture. thundeheart54 ... View related article.

RE: Sewing Satin Trim on Blankets
I have used the 1/2"inch or smaller Stitch Witchery. I iron it on one side of blanket being quilted. I iron the stitch witchery to wrong side of satin trim, apply this to the side of quilt or blanket on the right side of blanket etc. I then have done the same for the back or stitch the back side by hand. Be Careful as the stitch Witchery will be very hot when done ironing it in place. I put this on first before I even start putting blanket together, that way the batting doesn't melt or get bunched up. Just add to one side of the top layer then do whatever, when time to put binding or trim on other side the crease of the binding is your guide to finishing. You can stitch witch both or sew back side by hand. thunderheart54 ... View related article.

RE: Holiday Ice Candle
I first made this in Girl Scouts I am 55 yrs young :.) They are great for any kind of a gift. I was just thinking about doing them for gifts. I save all my candles that burn down and hope to use them for this. I haven't made these in yrs. Can make for any time of the year. My used candles are usually scented, so I don't know how the scents will work together. thunderheart54 ... View related article.

Eagle quilt is just beautiful. Would you be interested in giving instructions to how you made it? I am working on different ideas to decorate my living room in Native American and this would fit just perfect. Thank-you
