A great casserole that I have had consists of: a layer of cooked turkey in the casserole dish, some veggies of your choice, the gravy poured over and this is all topped with Biscuit mix that has cranberries added to it. Everything is cooked already except the biscuit topping, so it's just a matter of heating it through and getting the biscuits fluffy and golden.
With ham, Mum used to make scalloped potatoes with slices / pieces of ham, all layered with cooked onions and topped with cheese in a casserole dish. Good Luck with it and Good for you for doing something like this! Julie ... View related article.
My parents and I live in North Eastern Ontario (yes, in the bush). To spoil the birds, my mum feeds them: stale bread with past date peanut butter smeared on, chopped up skin and fat from the pork picnic shoulder, chicken skin, any fat trimmings, apple cores chopped up. You could even get the rejected or reduced stuff some a fruit and veg market.
If there are scrambed eggs left over, they get those too, as well as any wet cat food that the cat turns her nose up at that turned hard and dry.
I also put out hair and yarn snippings for their nest building, and they help themselves to birch bark from the woodpile.
Oh dear, my mum suffers with this too. As others have suggested, anti-fungal cream, but use just a LITTLE bit of it.
A cotton bra helps, or strips of cotton fabric (say from an old cut up white undershirt or white T-shirt) tucked under your bra to absorb perspiration. Wash and dry the area well, and then wash the towel, as the fungus is now on the towel, don't re-infect yourself or try your toes (or elsewhere) with it!
If possible, lay down after a shower and let "the girls" get some fresh air! Good Luck! ... View related article.
I have found that when I use products that are too harsh, it makes my skin worse. I had that problem with tea tree products, now I just use tea tree for foot soaks or in household cleaners.
Finally I found a line called Avene, from France, which works very well for me. I change my moisturizer with the seasons - when it's dry and cold in winter, I use the heavier one, for the rest of the year, a lighter one. I don't wear make-up everyday anymore and always be sure to clean it all off before going to bed. They make a great eye makeup remover too.
Clean, tone and lotion twice a day, mask once a week and a gentle exfoliatiing scrub a couple of times a week. Drink lots of water, keep your hands off your face, clean your telephones, change your pillowcases, and pull your hair back when you sleep at night with a hairband.
Stress and hormones affect your skin too, as does facial hair removal.
