RE: Natural Treatment for Yeast Infection in Dog's Ears
A daily spoonful of plain yogurt with live and active cultures will prevent future infections. My Lhasa Apso George suffered from chronic yeast in his ears and Xymox treatment was expensive. The yogurt's bacteria prevents the yeast's growth. George has not had ANY problems with yeast since having a daily spoonful of yogurt (plain, to keep the sugar content low). ... View related article.

RE: Dog with Chronic Ear Infection
My dog suffered from the same problem with horrible itchy, smelly ear infections. After extensive treatment with Xymox to get rid of the last infection, I've started him on a preventative diet. Now I give him a large spoonful of plain, low-fat yogurt every morning and he's not had a problem since. The active cultures in the yogurt destroy the yeast, and prevent new infections. ... RE: Halloween Party Ideas for 13 Year Olds
You could do a game where they have to eat creepy, strange things like they do on some reality TV shows. You wouldn't have to do live roaches or anything like that, but maybe sushi or sashimi , stinky cheese, even boiled celery with some food coloring in it (give it some strange name) etc. Since they're 13, something unusual from a Chinese restaurant might be good to have, too. ...
