RE: Turning Up The Heat: Growing Hot Peppers
I watched a show on public TV about hot peppers and they said to make peppers hot and hotter you have to put them under stress by not watering them. That makes them want to stay alive longer by doing that.Water just enough to keep alive and they sure will talk to you when tasting them. I had some peppers that I watered every day and you would think you were eating a plain green pepper. ... View related article.

RE: Make Roast Chicken Into Multiple Meals
There's a store out my way called Sav-A-Lot, it's like Aldi and they sell in 10 lb packages chicken leg and thighs at an unbeatable price of 49 to 69 cents a pound. I break it up into 2 packs use one and one for later, goes in freezer.
you average about 10 to 12 pieces per ten pounds. That gives you 5 to 6 per meal. Cook with celery, carrots, onion,
spuds, your own seasoning and some water. Cover with aluminum in the oven at 350 degrees F, about 1-1/2 hours. You got a good feast waiting for you. ... View related article.

RE: Low Sudsing Laundry Detergent Recipe
With these H.E. washers the front door seals are made very good, they have to be to keep water in. When your done doing a load of wash, leave the door ajar about two inches or more. You can take anything roll it up and put between washer and door. Don't put it by hinge side you will put to much pressure on hinges. Also open where you put in soap, bleach and softener to let that air out. The reason for all this is your washer wll develop bad odors, AKA, fungus and mold. It needs to dry out if not used again. ...
