Ok so I tried vinegar, Windex, steel wool, WD-40, Magic Eraser to no avil. Then I started looking through the old Auto Cleaning supplies I have accumulated over the years, I stumbled across some Eagle One Mag-Chrome Aluminum Metal Polish I had, which can be picked up at almost any Napa or Schucks or Pet Boys, and low and behold, it worked like a champ.
