RE: Halloween: Horse Costume (Dog)
This picture just made my night and tomorrow too! You might consider drawing a circle (maybe use an eyebrow pencil?) around his eye on the white side of his lovely mug for next year's Halloween costume. Petey of Our Gang wouldn't mind. I suppose that is who he is named after. ... View related article.

RE: Izzy (Staffordshire Terrier)
You are so fortunate to have a place for your dogs to run until they are exhausted. Here in Hawaii, there was a young boy that had a Staffie pulling him on a skateboard. He was criticized for doing that, but that dog and boy were happy campers. ... View related article.

RE: Improving Self Confidence
Sometimes humor works well. My husband is a know-it-all and is very bossy. He's mellowing out. But I still occasionally need to respond to him with a "Yessir, Massah." or a quick military salute, or a mock bow with a deep bend from the waist. ... View related article.

RE: Reinforcing a Costume Helmet
Maybe you could dip a square of cheesecloth that is larger than the mask into a white glue/water solution. Hold the cheesecloth up to drain excess fluid back into your solution. Then drape it on the inside of the mask. Press the cloth into the hollows of the mask. Have the nose/chin touching your work surface, let it dry. Prop it up so it doesn't tip to one side. You might need to cut the excess cheesecloth away so that it doesn't droop on to the actual face of your mask. Cutting doesn't have to be perfect. For a closer trim to the edge, it would be easier to wait until it is dry. Then you could cut with scissors along the edge. Cut carefully around the eye and mouth openings. Repeat the process for the back of the helmet. ... View related article.

And he/she probably dusted some stamens on another flower--the little fertilizer. She/he looks very healthy. They really are heroes. We are having a problem with mites on the bees here in Hawaii. ... View related article.
