RE: Refrigerator and Freezer Advice
Hi, I am going to purchase a fridge with the freezer on the bottom. There are two options and I'd like to know what is preferred. Do you like the freezer on bottom that opens as a drawer, or the other option where it opens like a fridge door.

Just want some opinions before I make up my mind.
Thanks! ... View related article.

RE: Curves Women's Gym
I went to curves for 8 months, and worked out 2-3 times per week. I didn't just walk on the mats, I worked my *ss off. I did high kicks, deep bends, moved my arms etc. During my time on the machines, I pulled and pushed as hard as I could to work out. I worked up one dandy sweat, and I'm sure I was doing my cardio good.

BUT!!!! I lost only one thing in 8 months. NO inches, NO pounds, just MONEY. If you're in any kind of decent shape, it will do nothing more than maintain your body when you start.
I was so discouraged, (disgusted also) that I got a doctor's slip, and got out of my one year's contract. ... View related article.

RE: My Head Sweats a Lot
I think heavy perspiring just seems to run in families. My father had it, my mother didn't. My three brothers all have it, and so do I. It's horrid, embarassing, and very uncomfortable. EVEN worse now that I am in Menopause. I know a couple of women that have been in Menopause now over 15 years. Isn't that just special? I know I'll be one of them, I just know it. lol

When a bad hot flash hits, I want to shave my head and go stand in a walk in freezer, nude lol. (how I wish I had one in my house)

Women get all the crappy things in life. First periods with cramps, childbirth, (which isn't a picnic, but WELL worth it), then as you age, your periods flow like Niagara Falls. To top it all off, when we finally get rid of the curse, we have to suffer with hot flashes. Some nights I have 5 of them, and during the daytime, especially if it's hot out, I'm a sweating, swearing mess. I'm tired, irritable, and have tried all kinds of natural remedies that haven't worked. With all the yabber about breast cancer, I hesitate to even want the hormone replacements. I also hear they make you gain weight. Gee whizz, I'm overweight enough as it is lol

Ok, if anyone has any natural product that "actually" worked, I'm open to suggestions. No wonder we get gray hair!

RE: Gloves for Cold Weather Reviews
Go to a motorcycle shop and buy good leather gloves with an insulated liner in them. They aren't cheap, but they will help keep your hands warmer than regular leather gloves.

If you aren't worried about dextarity, go to a snowmachine dealer and get the best leather snowmachine mitts you can afford. My hands stay warm even on long snowmachine rides.

Treat them with leather treatment (like Dubbin) once or twice a season to keep them soft and supple. ... View related article.

RE: Buying a Bed
Tempurpedic is the only way to go! like sleeping on clouds.

Since it's supposed to last for years and years, I don't know if we'll ever need another matress but if we do, we'll be getting another Tempurpedic.

I have a bad back, and I sleep like a lamb on it. No tossing and turning, ever. ... View related article.

RE: Dental Fresh for Dogs Reviews
I have owned 3 big dogs, (2 labs and a setter) and never had a problem, I now have a part toy poodle and a toy poodle, and their breath gets so gross, it smells like old garbage.

If your dog won't allow you to clean the dirt from their teeth, (mine freak out!) the only solution is to take them to the vet, they sedate them, and clean them up. I've had to do this with my small girls twice now, and it's not cheap, but their breath smells good afterwards. I think every 4 years or so, it should be done. They've both had to have teeth extracted also. Too late to save them, unfortunately.

I feed canned for small dogs in the morning, and dry hard dogfood at suppertime. Little dogs are fussy, and the only treats they will eat are NOT created for cleaning teeth. They won't even LOOK at the stuff that's made for dental care lol (wouldn't ya know) ... View related article.

RE: What Cleaning Products Do You Use?
OOps, one more thing. Clorox spray also works wonders in your stainless steel sinks. Spray it on, wait two minutes, wipe with your scrubby sponge, and flush it down. Then I use Windex on the faucets to shine them up, using a paper towel. ... View related article.

RE: Free Phone Service
download yahoo chat. It works great! I live in Canada, and was chatting online with a girl last night in Australlia. It was a wee bit static, but what do you want for free? I chat with another friend who lives 1500 miles away in the USA. It's very clear, but once in a while there's a pause between talking and hearing. No big deal though, I'd recommend it any day. The photo sharing is awesome to BTW! ... View related article.

RE: Removing a Wine Cork Without a Corkscrew
If you know you're going to drink the whole bottle, or if you're desparate enough not to care, take a LARGE headed nail, turn it head side down, place it on the cork, and lightly tap the pointed end with a hammer until the entire cork is down inside. enjoy! ... View related article.
