RE: Candle Wax off the Wall
DANGER: Do NOT get the paper towel too close to the stove.

DANGER: DO open a window to prevent carbon monoxide buildiup from the PROPANE STOVE. Although you should not be running it that long.

CAUTION: Knifes are sharp objects, wear gloves.

CAUTION: Propane stoves are hot(This is a CYA), I recommend you wear gloves and eye protection.

NOTE: Be carefull with the heater it only takes 5 to 10 seconds! Dont melt the paint.

DISCLAIMER: I have pictures of me doing it safely for your demonstrational purposes only, use common sense and if you fail to do it safely or damage property it is not my fault nor responsibility. Results may vary. Intended to be performed by adults only.

If you arent scared off by now then proceed it is fairly simple to do:

1. Remove what you can by scraping a non cerrated knife with blade up(so as to not dig in the wall).

2. I used a Coleman camp stove, the single one piece one that attaches to a propane bottle. Not the big one that folds up.

3. After firing it up and letting it get to temperature, I turned it up to medium low, and flash heated the wax so that way it gets melty but the core is more slurrylike Abot 5-10 seconds possibly longer be carefull..

4. When the wax is wet it is time.

5. Then rubbed the paper towel back and forth then up and down repetatively alternating directions at right angles.

6. When it got creamy like cream chease it wadded up and fell off. I had clear wax but it took me 5 minutes this way.

TIP: Yes you must turn the stove and bottle horizontally and hold it about 2" - 1.5" away to get heat going, 5-10 seconds is not long enough to damage the pant, when you see the wax get wet looking it's time.

I discovered this by accident as I was moving out the mover took all my stuff and I wanted to process the apartment for the next resident. I like my coffee so I had to have a portable coffee maker. Also the hair dryer is in transit. ... View related article.
