RE: Making Applesauce in Freezer Bags
I always use my crock pot to make applesauce & I don't see why you couldn't freeze it. I probably use a whole 5lb bag of apples. Peeled, cored & cubed. Throw them in the crock pot with maybe 3/4 cup of water & cinnamon & sugar to taste. Really, you can cook it on high or low & just check it ever so often until you get the consistency you like. RE: Craft: Baby Food Jar Tea Lites
I've done this before at work with kids as young as 18 months. We've used them for gifts from the kids for the parents and such. One year, we just brushed Elmers glue on the jars & let the kids stick shaped confetti on the jars. Found out that when you use Elmer's glue on baby food jars, it does not dry clear, but gives the jar a frosted look! Really cool! They were fun for the kids & a big hit with the parents! ...
