We live in Illinois and fleas are terrible. We ended up using salt on our carpets and it seems to make the fleas more aggressive. From the research we have done this is due to the salt dehydrating the fleas. We also places bowls filled with water and Dawn dishsoap around the carpet and the fleas are jumping right into them. Even though this appears to be working for now, we are still getting flea bites and seems like more fleas. i am a firm believer in natural solutions but I am seriously considering bombing the house.
