Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I had to when I couldn't find instructions on 'spin only' on my front loading machine. I contacted them via the internet. They were very helpful:0) Perhaps you may need to soak your clothes in a bucket overnight. I do this as it uses less water and I can stir and hand scrub any really grubby marks. It also stops those stains that machines sometimes leave (when the machine is a few years old). Sorry not much help! ... View related article.
Cut grass quite high. Don't catch the clippings as it will mulch down and feed the soil. Also the ground holds better moisture with more "hair" on top. Get your lawn cored from time to time and rake sand into it if the soil is compacted. If you really feel you need to add something to it, try poo tea! A huge bucket (lided) of water with a shovel full of chicken/cow or horse poo. Let it festure for a week, stiring ocasionally and dilute to "tea" strength and apply in a watering can or whatever you have. ... View related article.

Pesto is part of our staple summer diet, partly because we love it and partly because basil is so easy to grow. 3 oz pine kernals,1/2cup fresh basil, 4-6 cloves garlic, 4oz parmesan-grated, 1/4 pint olive oil, salt/pepper. Blend kernals first, add basil & garlic. Add cheese gradually then slowly bit by bit the oil, still blending. If we use it as a sauce on pasta, we like to add a tin of tomatoes, blending it into the pesto. A feast on homemade wholemeal pasta! ... View related article.
