RE: Cleaning Bamboo Floors
I would use vinegar water I have used this for years on my hardwood floors. They are beautiful, shiny and clean. I would use a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of vinegar to a gallon of water. Try to make sure you are using just a damp mop...not leaving a lot of water behind as you mop. Also, I have found using a string mop or fabric mop is much beter than swifters etc. Good luck with this! Costco has a great string mop for around $5. ... View related article.

RE: Burnt Cookie Sheet
Try a good old SOS pad. They really shine things up-very good on aluminum. Also, you might after you get it clean, you can cover it with aluminum foil. I have tried everything and this works the best. I have also used ovencleaner and let them sit overnight on newspapers after they are sprayed. That works really well, also works to clean bbq grills too. Hope you have great results! ... View related article.

RE: Make Your Own Summer Skirt
I would love to see what it looks like. I am a little confused on your directions about the "width" of the fabric. If you could explain that -the length part is easy to figure out. Thanks tupelhoney17 AT hotmail.com ... View related article.

RE: Face Cleanser for a Teenage Boy
Witch Hazel is awesome. Inexpensive and cleans very well without drying the skin out. Just use a small amount on a cotton ball or other cleaning pad and do the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. This is a great nightly ritual for keeping your skin clean, then again in the morning after your bath or shower. You will see the dirt come off on the cotton ball. This works very well. ... RE: Complaints About NY and CA Moving Companies
Your daughter needs to contact the Attorney Generals office for both states. Give them as much information as possible regarding these companies. Consumer Affairs Divisions are put in to place by each state to protect consumers from exactly these kinds of issues. Your daughter can obtain this information on line. Just do a google search for California government and New York government. When you get to each States home page, look for Attorney General's office or do a search. They can and do assist in a great capacity. They will help her resolve this issue. Best of luck. ... View related article.

RE: Remove Sharpie Permanent Marker From Stone
Try some WD 40, it works on almost anything with a poreous surface. My girlfriend had glue on her new "high dollar" wood flooring, we used it and it removed all traces. It is an excellent petroleum based product. It removes ink from just about everything else. ... View related article.

RE: Bleach Spots on Black Stone Vanity
Brian:

Use a black felt tip marker (permanent ink) after you have colored in the spot very well, use clear nail polish(sparingly) and let dry. You may have to use this process again, depending upon what you clean it with later on. I use vinegar water for all of my cleaning in the bathroom...safe and effective. ... View related article.
