RE: Changing the Color of a Leather Purse
Shoe polish could be used to restore it to the same colour, but not to change the colour. To change the colour of leather, requires several processes. Here is a kit that will work - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.htm ... View related article.

RE: Butter Stains On Leather Purse
Hi,

You cannot remove oily stains from leather without running the risk of removing the leathers colour. You could try a degreaser and then re-colouring balm. Or look for a leather specialist in your area.

You can get a leather degreaser here - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/LeatherDegreaser.htm ... View related article.

RE: Body Odor Smell On Leather Chair
Hi, Use a leather cleaner to remove the smell. Generally the odour will be coming from dirts/oils on the leather surface. Something that a good cleaner will remove. Then, to restore the luster after cleaning, and to apply a leather scent, use a leather protection cream or aroma product.

This kit has both a cleaner & protector - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/LC_Special_Offer.htm ... View related article.

RE: Cleaning Handles of Dooney & Bourke Handbag
Hi,

This is most likely sweat/oils/grease from your hands, which has caused this. This can be quite an expensive problem to fix.

You could use a colourant kit - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.htm

However, inorder for a product like this to be sucessful, a colour match would be necessary and a sample of leather would need to be sent to Furniture Clinic for matching.

You could also have them restore it for you, or source a local leather restoration company to you. ... View related article.

RE: Dye Stain on Leather Furniture
Hi,

Use this product to remove the stain - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/LeatherStainRemover.htm

Following the below instructions;

Never apply directly to the leather.
Depending upon the size of the stain use either the cotton wool bud, cotton ball or cotton cloth to remove the stain.
Dab the stain gently and as the stain is removed from the leather the cotton will absorb it.
Rotate the cotton to stop the stain from spreading.
