RE: Constance Joy (Bassett Hound)
I know exactly what you mean, my basset Butterscotch NEVER knew a stranger and only ever growled at one person (she was telling me something there). She never dug up anything but always tried to make a nest in the carpet. She would scratch at it and turn then scratch and turn until we would have to tell her to lay down..lol. We just lost her on July 4th, she was 13 and my previous basset Maggie walked me to kindergarten and was in my senior pictures, she was 14 when she passed. Enjoy your life with Constance, if she is anything like mine have been she will be your best friend for life. ... View related article.

RE: Keeping a Trailer Warm
We lived in a trailor here in Ohio for several years and one of the best ways and cheapest ways we found to heat up a room and still do, after we had made sure to have either plastic or heavy curtains/even blankets as curtains on our windows. Was to use 3 or 4 wick candles from Wal Mart or where ever you can find them at the cheapest price. PLEASE make sure to only use this idea if you are going to be home. In a small room we would use 1 candle but in a larger room we would use 2-3 candles. At $5 dollars a piece and lots of burning hours it is a cheap source of heat. I also heard if you put a terra cotta pot upside down above the candle the pot will hold the heat and make like a small heater. I am not sure how you might make this but someone out there might know of a way. God Bless, Good Luck and stay warm and safe!!! ... View related article.

RE: Removing Vomit Stains On Carpet
I had the same problem with my cat and my dog. They always seemed to get sick on my beige carpeting. Faithfully I use Woolite Carpet Cleaner with OxyClean in it. I really saturate the spot and it has worked every time. Even when my dog got some "dodo" on the beige carpeting. Good luck! ... View related article.
