I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for but I'm in zone 9 and I was looking for a christmas tree type evergreen to grow which was hard to find for my zone. I have space issues in my yard as well. I found some really great tomato seeds, "patio" variety and "tiny tim" ( I believe from Burpee) and they are actually growing and producing tomatoes in window boxes. I have 3 plants per window box.
