Puppies are like babies. You need to pay a lot of attention to them. You shouldn't wait a month to potty train. I crate trained mine. during the day when i was around i just payed very close attention to him and at night i would crate him. I would have to get up once or twice a night and let him out to potty but I never had an accident in the house. He is over two years old now and still sleeps in a crate by my bed. That is his room. My daughter is getting married this Saturday and we can not afford a big affair. So we are decorating the outside with paper lanterns. They are inexpensive and come in many shapes and sizes. My bull mastiff has hip dysplasia and instead of going very drastic we changed the dog food to one that has a lot of fish oil and protein. He now does very well and only once in a while is bothered by the hip. i use stain stick and then wash it and then hang it out in the sun to dry. sometimes the wash wont remove all of a stain but when i hang in the sun to dry the sun bleaches it out. ... View related article. |

try looking at rescue organizations for the breed that you decide to go with. You can get an older dog and sometimes puppies that have been in a bad situation. They normally dont cost as much either and you are getting a pure breed. Plus you will be saving a life and rescue dogs tend to give lots of love to thier forever home parents. ...
