The fill valve - usually found on the back down at the botttom on the right side- it may not be working. The ice maker calls down to the fill valve to open up and let the water come in. Most dryers have a cycling thermostat in them it keeps the dryer from getting too hot if it goes out it will not heat. Also have some one make sure you are getting 220 from the outlet - dryers will run on 110 but not heat. ... View related article. |

Its not the ice maker - in the floor of the freezer is a small drain that lets the water drain out after it goes through defrost - it sounds like it is plugged up and not draining. Clean out the ice and look and see if you can see the drain - if you can- take some weed eater string and run it through that should clean out the drain. No more frozen lakes. ... I work at an appliance store and have over the years been able to find some of the old parts and manuals, but kenmore usually has 3 numbers followed by a point and then 7 to 9 more numbers example: 110.1234567 if you could look and make sure I could see what I could come up with. ... For my parents we had a big party, all of us kids chiped in we rented a local hall. My nephew took a bunch of old pictures and made a slide show of my parents from the time that they went to their high school prom together all the way through today, it had us kids, their grandkids and greatgrandkids- it was set to music. The hall that we rented had a big screen t.v. in it and we played the c.d. on it. Everyone ooed an yawed all evening. We also had pictures of them everywhere. Best of all is we kept it all a surprise untill they walked in the door.
