| RE: Adopting a Labrador/German Shepherd Mix |
|
Wonderful choice! I had a Black Lab for 13 years and she was the kindest sweetest baby ever. She had 13 pups when she was very young and we kept one of them, The daddy was a German Shepherd. He lived until he was 12 yrs old. He was a very protective guy to my family but he was also very gently and loving. He loved the water and was forever swimming in the river. My opinion is don't worry. Its all about how you raise and care for your animals. Best of luck! They are beautiful ... View related article. |

| RE: Dog with Yeast Infection on Skin and in Throat |
So sorry to hear this about your Baby. If she has a yeast infection, why hasn't the Vet put your dog on an antibiotic? This to me would be the first course of action to be taken. As far as shaving off all of the fur, I myself have never heard of this and it seems to me that perhaps you might consider finding another Vet for your Baby. Is she coughing? As you mentioned something being stuck in her throat. She might have Bordertella ( Kennel Cough). I hope that you can help her with everyones support and ideas on this msg. board. Best of Luck ... | RE: Cat Vomit on Wool Carpet |
|
I too have the same problem with my darling cat, she is forever doing the wet fur ball throw up all over my home too. I keep a spray bottle of water and vinegar at hand (more vinegar than water). I spray and then immediately blot with paper towels. If the stain is too dark in color then I spray with Castrol Cleaner and use a scrub brush. It never fails me. However if your carpets are that of a color I would dilute the Castrol as it is very strong and might fade your carpet. Mine is a very light color and it works fine. Castrol can be found in Walmart in the cleaning section for autos. I hope this can help you out. Let me know and good luck, Pat ... View related article. |

| RE: Clothing Ironing Tips |
I love to iron! I take some items out of the dryer a little before they are completely dry and then iron them with a little lavender water spray. The aroma is so very nice and does linger nicely on the clothing. It also makes the iron glide easily over the fabrics. ... View related article. |
