| RE: Fixing Grout Cracked When Removing Caulk |
Go to your local Hardware store and get a tube of silicone grout and a grout gun, ask the rep. to show you how to use it. Run a line of grout down the corner and then run your wet finger along the line, wipe off any that gets on the tile. This is something that is not hard to do and materials are not expensive. The glue behind the tile holds the tile on the wall not the grout. So the tile should be OK. ... View related article. |

| RE: Use A Sealed Container For Used Clumping Litter |
I keep the litter box in the bathroom and when I need to get rid of the big stuff I just scoop it out and flush it down the toilet. I am on septic system and have it flushed every few years and have not noticed any problems. Probably not a good idea if you are on city sewer. ... View related article. |

| RE: Spots on Marble |
I also have marble vanities (black) and have the water marks. I did some reserch and found that the water actually etched the surface. I have not found anything to fix the problem. I wipe the surface with marble polish to try to prevent more damage, I think it helps. I don't know why they use marble in the bathroom if it is so sensitive to water. ... View related article. |

| RE: Dealing With Fine Hair |
I also have fine hair and not much of it. For me its best to keep my hair at shoulder length with a few layers on top and back. I have to keep highlighting my hair as it tends to damage the hair a bit and that helps give it volume. I use Big Sexy Hair by Michael O'Rourke, spray it on the roots then blow dry holding the sections straight up in the air, this gives it fluff then spray with Tresemme Ultra Fine mist, any other hair spray just seems to weigh down the hair. I don't use Volume shampoo as it also weighs down my hair. I Have not found a shampoo that does not eventually build up and I have given up looking for one, I use cheap Suave shampoo each day then wash with Ivory soap once a week to really clean the build up. When my hair was shorter I used Ivory soap daily and it worked just fine. ... View related article. |

| RE: French Door Refrigerators |
I just had to buy a new Fridge and thought I would go back to the up and down kind because I didn't like the thin width of my old side by side. When I got to the store I did not like the way I had to bend down to get into most of the fridge area, I remembered, when I was young "hanging" onto the door while I looked in and getting my mom quite mad at me. So I bought another Side By Side. I did like the new kind that has the freezer on the bottom and fridge on the top but the cost was to high for that option. ... View related article. |

| RE: Buying a Bed |
Several years ago we bought the Sleep Number Bed and it has been a blessing. My husband and I have each hurt our backs over the years and being able to adjust each side independently was great. And besides I did not know if I needed a soft or firm mattress or if in the future my needs would change, which I found it has. This way I can adjust it any way I like. You can also get them with a pillow top. ... View related article. |

| RE: Cleaning a House with a Long Haired Cat |
That pet hair comes off the cat from the day you leave until 3 weeks later when you return, in the mean time its flying through the air and being picked up by the filter. The fact that you leave the house clean and come back dirty is not your falt. If she does not want the filter to do the vacuumming during the 3 weeks your away then she should hire you more often. It sounds like you may need to re-negotiate your price, if its taking you longer then when you first got the contract, though this still will not keep the house cleaner while your gone but it will compensate you for the additional work/time or explain to her the need for you to come more often (strain on the air circulation system, health risks etc.) which will help both of you and lessen the problem. ...
