White Gold jewelry should not turn a gold color no matter how old they are. I have my mother's wedding ring which is both white and yellow gold and it is over 60 years old and has not changed color. Take it to a reputable jeweler, get their opinion. Take it back where you purchased it and tell them you want what you paid for and what your original receipt states. If you aren't satisfied file a law suit and contact the Better Business Bureau.
