Hello! I am an obsessive re-cycler and live a very frugal life...and proud of it! I am married with 2 boys and live in vermont. I am very creative with useful crafts and enjoy doing them often. I cook entire meals for under for $5.00, 4-5 servings. I enjoy cooking in advance and freezing so that I can have a wholesome meal/snack in minutes!

Don''t bother turning the handles inside out. Sew them right the first time. Use wide strip and fold raw edges in pin and sew shut. I stagger seam as photo shows, but this comes with a price. Use regular furniture polish (pledge,behold etc.). I had purchased the leather polish before I read that pledge can be used on wood and leather! You can get cheap brands also. Have you ever seen those "torches"? They hang from the ceiling, a black bowl with a small fan/light that blows flickering fabric flames up. I remember seeing them on clearance everywhere and at yard sales cheap. Just remove the hanging chain(pliers) and set in "wood" like the other suggestions. Best wishes. ... View related article.
