It would seem reasonable that this would work, but I cook my potatoes with salt in the water. I am wondering if this would harm the plants. Does anyone know? Lydia (New Caney, Texas) ... View related article.
katklaw777 is right. It is a dracaena and it will flourish with a good haircut. Also correct is the caution about the milky discharge. It is toxic so be careful. The parts you cut off can easily be rooted. Set them aside for a day or two so that the wound heals, be sure to keep away from pets. Then just pop the stems into a pot and water. You will have new plants soon for yourself or to pass on to others. Lydia, New Caney, Texas ... View related article.
Cyinda, I have a tear in my loveseat, but it's not microfiber. It's a soft fabric with a velvety feel, but it isn't velvet. I am pretty sure I would not be able to successfully apply heat to it. I don't bother with cheap hamburger meat. There is so much fat in it that it shrinks to nothing. I buy lower fat content ground beef, but I always buy it on sale. I've found that my grocery store begins discounting their ground beef about 4:00 in the afternoon. This is beef that will be thrown out if not sold by midnight, so it is deeply discounted. It is always still fresh. I buy as much as I can. Then I cook what I want and pack the rest for freezing. ... View related article.
Definitely a Loquat. I was just given one. I am wondering if it will grow from a cutting? The one I have has a few leaves and new branches on the bottom, but somehow has grown a very long trunk with more leaves at the top. It looks odd, so I am thinking of cutting it back and would like to try rooting the part I cut off. Lydia ... View related article.
