RE: Running a Refrigerator Outside
Easy way to tell, empty fridge and leave unplugged for a month. Check your utility bill at the end of the month. If there is a little difference, plug in and enjoy. If it's a big difference, then sell it. anbsmommy ... View related article.

RE: Clothes Come Out Of Washer Covered In Fuzz
Here are some possible reasons for "fuzzy/pilling"clothing:
overloading your washer - Too much laundry soap, especially the powdered kind - too much softner -hard water - washing unlike clothes together, i.e. towels or socks with sweaters, dark clothing with light -make sure to turn clothes inside out before washing. Wash like fabrics & like colors together -make sure there are no tissues or paper products in pockets - make sure washer tub is wiped down. Liquid detergent works best, if using powdered type make sure it's thoroughly dissolved before adding laundry.
Hope this helps. Anbsmommy ... View related article.

RE: Removing Dried Wax From Couch
First try, freezing the wax with ice cubes...then scrape off.
then take paper towels and iron over spot...should melt and absorb
more wax.
THEN
go to your local grocer store, laundry isle, look for little yellow
bottles, product is call CARBONA and has cures for several kinds
of stains...look for wax or crayon remover
You might want to skip the first 2 and just use this stuff.
worked great on my formal dinning table cloth that had
LOTS of candle wax on it. ... View related article.

RE: What is "Zep Cleaner"?
Flush out immediately. Make sure items are correctly labled.
ZEP is a brand name and could be any type of a cleaner...some of which are quite corrosive! Dispose of at a place that
takes pollutants. Replace with clean water/and coolant.
Any questions call landfill for approved method of disposal.
Poison Control Center might be able to help you out on this
also.
good luck ... View related article.

RE: Lens CPR Ruined Glasses
that stuff DOES NOT WORK. It changes the lens on a molecular
level and there is NOTHING you can do to save them.
My hubby is a chemist and I did the same thing years ago.
Phone the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and maybe a CONSUMER
ADVOCACY GROUP can have your glasses replaced...
other than that you are out of luck.
sorry. :-S ... View related article.
