Hi, I'm Kim! First, I'm the wife of Chris, my life-and soul-mate, and mom to six wonderful talented very un-perfect children. My oldest is Sarah, 20, in college in another state, who this summer married Joe, her high school sweetheart; twin sons, Taylor and Kevin who are 18 and apart for the first time at colleges in different states, son Nathan, 15 1/2, who loves high school and is friends to every girl around him, daughter Kaitlyn who thinks she wants to be much older than her almost-14-ness, and Alexis, 12 1/2, who likes being the youngest still. Our family is musical, with band instruments and voices flying everywhere, and athletic to boot(football, baseball, softball volleyball and basketball!) The best part of me is my kids. My husband works in the mine ONLY cuz it's a high-paying job. I work in our local school district; have worked as a librarian, reading specialist, music teacher (my degree) and currently am substituting. We are a Christian family, and strive to raise our family in a way that pleases God. That's ME!!!

Used a standing mixer, let the beaters go for about 20 min., & scraped the sides every 5 min. or so. 4. I just used teaspoonfuls, but will make them 'fancy' at Christmas by putting mixture in a ziploc bag with one corner snipped, and will sprinkle crushed peppermint sticks on top. Absolutely yummy! ...
