Here's my Recipe, I use it when it's just to hot to turn on the oven!
~Stovetop Cornbread~
Since you don't have to wait for an oven to heat up, this cornbread is super quick to make. Be sure to use a heavy skillet to prevent burning the bottom, and don't overcook.

Ingredients
1/2 cup buttermilk or soured milk (see TIP) 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 egg 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (use more, if desired) 3/4 cup cornmeal 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons oil or butter, for the pan
Measure buttermilk . Add egg and beat with a fork. Stir in oil and honey or sugar.
In another bowl, mix cornmeal, salt and baking soda.
Heat skillet, add 2 teaspoons butter or oil and spread to cover bottom and sides of skillet thoroughly.
Add cornmeal mixture to milk mixture, stir briefly, and pour into hot skillet.
Reduce heat to medium-low and cover. (If skillet has no lid, improvise with foil, or a plate)
Check after 6 - 8 minutes. (It may take a few minutes more.)
Cornbread has cooked long enough when firm around the edges and center is almost firm.
Turn off heat and let stand, covered, for a few minutes. It will continue to cook. Serve warm.
Prep Time: approx. 30 Minutes Versatile cream cheese frosting flavored with sugar-free instant pudding. It will frost one 9x13 or one 2 layer cake. Use any flavor of pudding mix.
In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix and milk. Mix well and let stand until thickened. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add pudding and mix well. Finally, fold in whipped topping. Makes 1 frosting for 1 cake
make sure the cake was completely cooled, if icing is to thin add more pudding mix. -------------------------------------------------------
This is so simple and so good! its pretty low in carbs too-- which is great for diabetics as well as low carb dieters. It covers a 2 layer cake, or 9x13.
~~Sugar-free frosting #2~
2 (1 ounce) boxes sugar-free instant pudding mix (any flavor) 1 cup skim milk 3 cups heavy whipping cream
Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using electric mixer at low speed, mix til pudding is dissolved. Increase speed and whip until it is spreading consistency. ---------------------------------
you can use coconut, tosted coconut, nuts, berrys. Add extra cream cheese for a carrot cake, I have also mixed in peanut butter to the recipes. Use Sugar free raspberry jam as a filling for a 2 layer cake then ice and top with fresh raspberrys!
Hi There and congratulation's on your up-coming Wedding! I have designed two Fire Fighter themed weddings, the one just recently was in the colors of Black, Red and White, it had a very clean and classic look, but any color will work. I used white table clothes as the base color for the tables then I added black runners going down the middle of each set of tables followed by Red Rose petals and votive candles, then for the centerpieces I placed a Toy Fire Truck or Stuffed Dalmatian Dog with Roses and Rose petals tucked under and around them and then added more candles. THIS WAS SUCH A HIT! and everyone LOVE IT! the best part about using the toys is that the couple donated them to the Fire Department! so this Christmas they have given a gift of love to many children.
Wishing you a Wonderful Wedding Day and a Lifetime of Love...
