| RE: Training a Dog to Not Poop Inside |
|
Yea, well we have a 6 yr old rat terrier/chihuahua and she still isn't housebroken. I have tried everything, she won't even go on puppy pads in the garage. I think some dogs just refuse to go outside for one reason or another, and I think in our case she is jealous of our daughter. Everything got 100 times worse when she was born. Maybe she is mad you moved? Any other changes? New children, roommates, etc? ... View related article. |

Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans Recipe:
Ingredients/Supplies Needed
1 cup of coffee beans 1 &frac; cups of chocolate chips. 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder 1 stainless steel double boiler
Preparation
Melt the chocolate in the top of the double boiler.
Next, place one third of the coffee beans along with the melted chocolate. Stir the mixture well so that the coffee beans get coated with chocolate.

Once all your coffee beans are chocolate-coated and placed on the wax paper, roll the chocolate covered coffee beans in cocoa powder before they harden. Let them harden naturally, or you can pop them in the freezer.
It is best to use FRESH beans, they will have the best flavor. ... View related article. |

| RE: Removing Rodent Urine Smell on Outdoor Furniture Cushions |
|
Well I doubt you will be able to remove ALL of the smell from the cushions. You could try spraying with a pet enzyme (I get one from Wal-Mart) and let it air dry. Spraying a mix of vinegar and water works well. My dog pees on her blanket all the time and it reeks of urine. I spray the fabric with the enzyme product (I forgot what it is called) and let it sit. Then I soak in washer with a few cups of vinegar. Then I add detergent and wash. Sometimes I have to wash twice. Good luck! ... View related article. |

Actually, some say it is bad for dogs, and others say it helps with fleas, worms, general health. I know several people who sprinkle garlic powder in their dog's food for fleas/healthy coat. When I did this for my dog, it gave her dandruff. Here are some sites that talk about this in more depth:
