I am an 8th grade girl in a private school in Arizona. I hate it there. I am the 8th grade representative in student counicil. All of the people with big names that pretty much run the school hate me now because I'm a 'little person' and I got in student council for the very first time. My uncle says this is my first step in taking over the world. I joined ThriftyFun because I need ideas for a school dance in mid-December. I hope you can help me here. I am also a huge fan of the rock group Queen. I use a fake name on these to avoid detection from my classmates that want to throw me to the gound (student council.) You can knock me down, but you can't knock me out.

It's so nice to see other student council members on this site!! Still looking for winter wonderland/blackout ideas...still hated by the rest of student council...still up to me to save the school from banality. *sigh* Oh well. I can handle it. After the next student council meeting, I'm gonna talk to my class about the dance. Even though it is in mid-December, it will creep up on us fast. I think we will use blacklights, white snowflakes, blue white & green glowsticks, white streamers. I need some help with ideas for food & drinks.
