| RE: Removing Hair from Legs |
I stopped using women shavers a long time ago. Since men have more course hair due to their beards in such I figured using a mens shaver/razor would work wonders and it does! I love the Gillette Infusion or the Mach 3 blade and 4 blade. Also, another trick I came across a long time ago is exfoliate your legs before shaving. I do this to my legs and underarms. I buy a scrubbing pad from the cosmetic isle and use those. I will run it up and down my leg and thighs in circular motion it not only helps take off the dead skin but helps the process of the hair removal a bit easier. At least it does for me. Hope some of this has helped. Oh and also ... I love using the shaving cream by Bath & Body Works by the line True Blue Spa called Shave the Day Silky Smooth Shave Cream...it works wonders!

| RE: Sticking to a Weight Loss Program |
First of all I'd like to say congratulations! on wanting to better yourself. I know from personal experience that it is very hard to try to lose weight but most of all trying to keep motivated. I recently started working out again and I am loving it. I go walking or running every morning but I have found a place that I wouldn't mind looking at every day and it is a park near the chesapeake bay. I'm in MD. Watching the sun reflect off the water is the most beautiful thing to a sunrise or sunset. That in itself is a great motivation for me. Try to find a place or something that you know you wouldn't mind seeing or doing everyday. Something that gives you pleasure and makes you look forward to wanting to keep up the work outs.
Also Luvyababe said it perfectly. Give yourself a cheat day, I do the same thing. Anytime you start working out you need to think of everything realistically. All goals from numbers to foods giving up. You can try to ween yourself off instead of going cold turkey. Normally when people tend to go cold turkey in cutting everything off they tend to fail because once they do have the cheat day they want to eat everything in sight. And cheat days are good because it gives you something to look forward to. But like Luvyababe stated you can't eat everything in sight. You can consider your cheat day as like a reward to yourself for making it the rest of the days eating right and working out.
Try to give yourself reasons as to why you should keep it up. And also compare it to other things such as watching t.v. or working out, which will I benefit from more? Think of the reaping benefits you'll get. Not sure if you have kids but if you do think of the extra time you'll have with them. I know things get tiring when they become repetitious but instead of repeating quitting, repeat staying on track. =)
I wish you much luck! God Bless.

Another great thing to use for dry heels is the Heel of Approval Cracked Heal Treatment by True Blue Spa from Bath & Body Works. I swear by this thing and have recommended it to many who love it as well! It was $15 and now I see online it's $20 but I'm telling you it's totally worth it. Just another option to try. ... | RE: Finding Jeans That Fit |
|
Thanks all! I finally found some jeans that fit great in the bum area! I went to Old Navy this past weekend and came across two different styles that fit great. One is called The Flirt & the other is The Diva. Both of them have pockets with buttons on the back which make the figure a bit more flattering. Thank you all for your suggestions. ... | RE: Well Water Making Laundry Smell Bad |
|
Well, I looked at the washer (Which is a couple of months new) and it has no rubber material in it at all. Plus it's an Oasis HE and I can't leave it open while it washes because with this washer once everything is set as in settings wise, it locks itself until the wash is done. The smell happened with the old washer too so I thought perhaps it was the washer. I guess I'm going to try the baking soda and vinegar idea see if that works out. I guess to describe the smell i'm talking about would be... it smells like a dirty wet towel. ... View related article. |
