RE: Preventing Mildew On a Shower Curtain
Hello!

The best way I have found is
1. When you first start, after you take a shower, take a squirt bottol filled with half bleach and half water and spray down the whole shower, including the shower curtain.

2. Using an old rag or old towl, wipe the shower all down and do not rinse. I alway exten the shower curtain so it can dry on it's own.

3. After every shower, I just spray down the shower all over including the shower curtain and I never have scum build up or mildew and I like the clean smell.

4. Be sure you keep this bottol labled "Bleach" and keep it up and away from children.

I always have a clean tub and shower.

You can also find a hubcap and glue it to your base. I have a hubcap they use to call a "moon" that is solid and it works for me. I call it my "hippy birdbath". ... View related article.

RE: Alternatives to a Christmas Tree
Many years ago, we had a big tumbleweed that my Mother decorated. I think Dad made a "X" stand for it out of scrap wood. It was so pretty and all of us children loved it.
By the way, Your name caught my eye...My name is Donita too. Merry Christmas from Loveland, CO.

RE: Hanging Pictures on the Wall
Would it look better if all pictures were in the same kind/color of frame? Arraigning them on the floor first is a good idea! Thanks for all the input. I'm still thinking about what to do.
Thanks again!

RE: Helping Elderly Parents
I took care of my mother for 15 years. I learned that I had to take care of myself, emotionally and physically in order to help her. And, be there too just listen. My mother loved to talk about the past and I wish I had written things down at the time. I was very fortunate to have a loving husband and family that understood my position with my mother. She is fondly remembered now. Blessing to you! ... View related article.

What a wonderful idea. Especially for young people, and old alike, as it teaches us to turn our problems over to God and trust in him. Thank you for the Christmas idea! ... View related article.

We have big ones here in Loveland, CO. too. I think they are so interesting and last year I tried to catch on in a jar. Much to my surprise, it moved very fast and was very angry and it really scared me. I just wanted to see it up close. Now I will not bother them! ha! ... View related article.
