Profile For Dozersmom - Creativity and Reality

I'm always trying to be creative without spending $$$

Work a full time job, with more hours than anyone would like.

I make handmade goats milk soap & lotion whenever I get the chance and I enjoy painting anything from walls to bisque figurines.

I live in our old homestead house that was built in 1888 and enjoy decorating in the shaker style or mission style, simple not fancy.

I enjoy teenagers and younger adults by helping them to find out the right from the wrong, using that to understand, what they want or maybe just what they think they want.

Love is a Choice!

Choose to Love your children and never make it mandatory.

RE: Accessories To Wear With a Green Dress
Creme color shoes and purse are basic for sage and lighter shades of green. Kelly (shamrock color) or darker should be matched with deep charcoal or black with purses to match. Green of any shade, should be worn with biege or neutral hose. You can't miss with these choices no matter where you are wearing them to. ... View related article.

RE: Product Review: Sno-Bol
I does work great but the fact that it also destroys your enamel, plastic, or any other material that you use it on that is poress in a full strength. (Toliet bowls contain water in them when using this product) I learned the hard way having to replace the tub and sink because I chose the easy quick way. I have found that a little iron-out paste or with a little more elbow grease can save you money in the long run. If you do continue to use Sno-Bowl or any toliet cleaner, Please be careful and when finished make sure that you use a good washing of soap and water to remove the caustic posion residue left behind! ... RE: Recycled Windows to Build a Green House
Talk to a window replacement company. Ask if they have any that have not broken while replacing. But as far as going green it also means the conservation of energy so most of the windows are being replaced because they need insulated themselves. ... View related article.

RE: Refiling for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Usually it goes chap 7 or 11 first. If it already is in 13 and you have faced your creditors in federal court it should all be settled usually your attorney is always paid before it gets to this step. If your creditors did not show up to agree to write it off or make smaller payments. You should be safe. I have never heard of having to PAY anything after 13 goes into federal court. I don't belive you can make an ammendment. 13 is final. Call your attorney on that one. Only if you reassumed pmt's like house or car and you can't make those payments, in Indiana you loose them back to to lein holders. Again call your attorney ... View related article.

RE: Painting Paneled Walls
First choose the lightest color of "HIGH HIDING of any BRAND paint" and paint all the walls this will be your primer. Then see what it looks like. You are looking for 'visual' not actual. If you need to fill in gaps use only "dap" not drywall mudd. Use at least a 3" putty knife and wipe the edges with a a damp sponge. Then paint it again. I lived in a trailer and when done taking these steps, it looked like drywall throughout. Drywall mudd has pores and it sucks up the paint. and will make it look bumpy. Dap in tube is the best if necessary, it is smooth. It took me 3 weeks to do a 18 x 74 mobile home this way. Hope it helps, it was easy ... View related article.

RE: Dealing With An Excess Of Inherited Photographs
For the sake of lost images, may I suggest that you contact the State or Local area that these pictures are from and find a library historian. They may have images of someone else's family in them and they may be looking for the past people, places, or things.

Also, please for any military images seek out a Local or State, better yet, the National Homepage for an American Legion or VFW Organization and offer to have someone look through them. Especially a WWII veteran who might have served with that outfit or remember what the uniform, (ie: metals or bands) stood for.

One last request? Many National Landmarks have been weather worn or simply changed completely. Do a little research and contact the National Parks or Monuments homepage.

These pictures my be priceless to many. Please don't just trash them they have a home in someones heart.
Thank you. ... View related article.

RE: Getting Rid of Skunk Smell
Tomato juice or Puree diluted. You can wash clothing in it also if not allergic, you can wash your body or an animal in it. It is the least expensive and most effective natural product. Any thrift store brand will do. Vinegar (regular or cider) is a good rinse before laundering.

And Yes! to Sheliamay's post, it was listed in an old "Hippy Magazine" called The Whole Mother Earth Catalog, when you bought the ideal miracle skunk smell remover, you received Tomatoe Juice !! Oh how we are trying to get back to the basics... ... View related article.

RE: Birthday Party Activities
Pending on the weather, the personalities of the guests & how many..
1) I rented an indoor pool at a hotel, had pizza, music, which included a lifeguard ($150 for 16)
2) Winter, I provided large garbage bags and found a large hill and went sliding, food $ cocca.
3) Went ice skating & roller skating
4) Rented a DJ set up a volleyball in the backyard.
It all depend on the guests, Kewl, timid, shy, hotshots, in the gueat list. Just make sure that all have their own things or places to hang out. 14 is a hard age. Money is also a big consideration.(What will you need for when your 15,16 etc..) Balloons and cake may have stopped by that age. But, adult supervision is still required. Have fun and Happy Birthday.. ... View related article.
